Val and Robbie

Robbie Johnson has been a friend of mine for quite a few years. I used to do my best to follow him down the trail in my down-hilling days.

He finally met his match in Val, a beautiful girl who made an absolutely stunning bride. They married at Bozarth Mansion last weekend on what was a crazy-weather day. We had everything from one hundred degrees to a dust and wind storm to quite the down-pour. Fortunately it cleared up just in time for the outdoor ceremony.

It was a pleasure taking the pictures for them and I wish them many, many happy
years.

These are my favorites. You can see them all here.

This guy was all about the back-flip. He happily performed four of them so I could snap a few pics. If you're out there, thanks. And I would be happy to post your name if you email me or post a comment. :-)

Let the party begin!!!

The Wafstet Family Reunion

Dan is a friend who has been an occasional co-worker for nearly fifteen years. He had a family reunion last weekend and asked me to snap a few portraits. They were a fun bunch to take pictures of. You can see all of them here.

Terri and Kevin's Album

Terri and Kevin's album showcase is up. You can check it out here.

Terri and Kevin

On the luckiest date of the year (07/07/07), I shot a beautiful ceremony in Arlington. Terri and Kevin were married on a beautiful summer day at an equally beautiful location. There were a few twists to this seemingly conventional ceremony. Not the least of which was a pond bubbling with fish feeding on food that the bride and groom tossed in at the end of the ceremony.

I had a great time at this celebration and hope all of the weddings I work are as much fun. Here are a few of my favorites. You can view the rest here.

Photography 101

Yet another installment of my self portrait series.... A couple from the first night with studio lights, a bit of shreddin' on the old Ibanez, a bit of a creative camera portrait and (what seems to be the majority of my life lately) a bit of photo editing.

The Ohlhavers

I had some family up for Hoopfest weekend. My Aunt Peg, Uncle Greg and cousin Sarah live in Southern California and make an annual trip to Holden Village. This was their first Hoopfest experience and they seemed to enjoy it. (I guess it was a good thing we won.)

We shot a few fun portraits their last night in town. Here are a few of them. You can view the rest here.

It was great to see them and I can't wait for their next visit.

Staff Portraits

As most of you know, I do still hold down a full time job with School District 81. I was asked to shoot the portraits for the Summer Express Program and happily accepted. Most were more than cooperative with the pictures and they are a fun crew to work with. Here are a few of my favorites.
