Emily and Patrick

Well..... you couldn't find two people who are more compatible than Emily and Patrick. They are both full of energy and a blast to be around. If only the rest of my wedding photography days could be as much fun.

The party seemed to have started well before even the ceremony. Everyone was in great spirits (and rightfully so). These two were about as much fun as any bride and groom could be. Even throwing down another super-hero pose during the portrait session.

My congratulations go out to them for many happy healthy years together.

Here are a few of my favorite pics from the days festivities. You can see the rest here.

Stay tuned for the wedding album showcase to be up very soon.

100K Plus!!

Well.... it took just about a year to get here.... over Labor Day weekend, I went over 100,000 views on my web galleries. WOOHOO!!

Thanks to all who have supported Dave Ryan Photography. Either by hiring me or just clicking through the galleries when you check out my blog.

I am looking forward to the next year and many more successes.

Another Little Macro Shoot

Just goofin' around with the macro lens. My trusty Ibanez, a well-worn softball glove, and the Kona.... all seen from a perspective foreign to our own eyes. It is a fun and abstract way to shoot.

Labor Day Weekend

Shawnia and I took a trip down to Tulelake (pronounced Too Lee Lake) in Northern California over the Labor Day holiday weekend. We toured the local lava caves and visited the beautiful Crater Lake.

I finally got to meet Shawnia's parents, Ray and Ellen, who were great hosts and fun to be around. I am looking forward to our next trip.

Here are a few pics from the weekend.

The first was taken in total darkness. Lit only by the flashlights that we were carrying.

Lucas

I shot a few senior portraits for Lucas, a great kid, who is batting .400 plus and plays shortstop for North Central High School's baseball team. He was a lot of fun to work with. Very easy-going and cooperative.

Here are a few of my favorites. You can see the rest here.

Thanks Lucas!!

Shawnia's Memory Book
