Shawna

I shot some senior portraits for a Shadle student last week. She was a pleasure to be around and had a great smile. Here are a few of my favorites. You can view the rest here.

Logan Magazine!

Logan Magazine’s premier issue is finally here!! For those of you who don’t know-Logan Magazine was founded by an incredible girl named Logan and her mother Laurie. It is a fashion magazine for teens and adults with developmental disabilities. The premier issue is very well done, with Logan’s story featured. If you haven’t heard her story, check out the link to Logan Magazine’s site. It is truly inspirational to hear how successful Logan has become.

I will be doing some photography for them in the very near future and have my first ad in the premier issue.

I was fortunate enough to take pictures at the release party. As you can see, it was standing room only. It was a great evening of celebration. These are a few of my favorites.

Jason C. Davies

I had the opportunity to meet an extraordinary individual last week. Jason C. Davies is a positive motivational speaker who asked me to photograph one of his speaking engagements and design some business cards for him. He speaks about the pursuit and fulfillment of personal goals and dreams understanding that it is alright to take a "two steps forward, one step back" approach. He has given his presentation to businesses as well as students at EWU and in Spokane School District 81. It was a great experience listening to him speak and a privilege to have been asked to document the event. If you would like info about his next speaking engagement or would like to contact him to speak at an event, give him a call at (509)701-8491.

Here are a couple of the cards that I designed for him.

Angie and Jon.

Angie and John’s edits are finally done. Being the second photographer for this wedding, I approached the editing a little differently. Trying a few more artistic techniques than I normally would have. The cross processed look and slow sync flash to name a couple.

Their wedding was absolutely amazing. As you can also see, the preparation was a family affair. Not only was all of the food and décor prepared and arranged by the family, but even the flowers were brought over from Hawaii by an aunt who did all of the floral arrangements. The party went well into the night and the atmosphere was electric throughout. The bridal party could not have been more kind, even sending along quite the flattering email about the quality of work that Bill and I were able to deliver.

Here are some of my favorites. You can see the rest here. The album showcase can be viewed here.
